If you are not in decent shape already, this program may be difficult for you.

In that case, I have 2 suggestions for you:

If you live in the Bay Area, we could meet (at a gym in my area) and I can help you train to get ready for this program. Two, if you live outside of the Bay Area, you should contact a trusted personal trainer in your area. They can help you get ready for this program.

Developing strength by traditional weight training and cardio machines can be very effective, done properly. If you have not had some formal training in how to develop a plan (ie. a class in college), then I would not suggest going it on your own. Form is important.
